WikiMontreal is a site where you can help us develop the memory and culture of Montreal as its inhabitants know it. We want stories of places, people, work, geography, human scale, slices of life, photos, postcards, songs, experiments, graffiti ... things that make city life more beautiful and easier, anything that can be said, mapped, drawn.

Territorial wikis
A wiki that develops and hosts knowledge linked to a geographical space. Initiated by local authorities, associations and volunteers, they aim to develop collaborative writing in a territory. The contents relate local heritage, living together, the interests of participants.
We are a group of volunteers, and among the wikis that have inspired us is wiki-brest, which initiated in March 2006 by the city of Brest (France) and is financially supported by the Brittany region, which connects community newspapers, associations, artists, librarians, teachers who write on the history, geography, culture and live throughout the country. Or the Davis Wiki, where community residents of Davis, California (USA), collect anything that touches Davis, especially small things in daily life.
